The patina is applied

Now that the Bronze has been chased and cleaned up the pieces are put together and a colouring, called a Patina, is added. The patina is applied first of all with cold liver salts and then scrubbed in with a soft wire brush and sealed using a blow lamp which heats up the liver salts fixing it into the Bronze. When the bronze has cooled down pure bees wax is applied and the Bronze is polished.
